The Industry
- The thermoware/ homeware industry is a subset of the plastic industry, which is a part of the Plastics and Rubber subsector of the Petrochemicals industry
- Nigeria, through the National Industrial Revolution Plan (NIRP) aspires to strengthen domestic plastics and rubber manufacturing to supply its own domestic demand and reduce imports while growing exports.
- Majority of products in the portfolio of Reliable Steel are for retaining food or other items in the desired temperature over the desired time. This is a basic need, and transcends income and cultural distinctions.
- Plastic as the principal material for our class of household appliances defies class distinction, and therefore creates a vast market, especially in West Africa with a population of over 300 million people.

- RSPIL is an active member of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN)
- We are also proud member of the Onitsha chapter of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) .
- Our products have been approved under the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) of the Standards Organization of Nigeria.
- The company has been admitted into the ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS) of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- RSPIL is a registered exporter with the Nigerian Export Promotions Council (NEPC).
- Since our entry into the export market in 2013, the NEPC has consistently showcased our products as veritable evidence of quality and beauty of products made in Nigeria.

- Our production operations directly employs eight hundred and fifty (850) employees, 99% of whom are Nigerians.
- Our training programs are targeted towards progressively augmenting expatriate workforce as Nigerians acquire requisite skills.

- Our distributors in Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroun, Niger and Republic of Benin anchor our expansion drives into those markets.
- To ensure wider reach across West and Central Africa, we are exploring potentials for establishing in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, the Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Mauritania; and eastwards into Chad and Central African Republic.

- Our well equipped fleet and Logistics departments with deep knowledge of the West African routes assures the timely delivery of our products to our customers in Nigeria and anywhere in West Africa.
